Please answer the following questions in no more than 300 words.

1. Why are you the best candidate for office?

Four terms ago, I set out to bring a Professional and Common Sense approach to Independence City Council. Focused on Solutions, I have worked very hard this past eight years to develop a reputation as a quality individual and one who practices a high degree of ethics regarding both personal and business matters. In addition, through experience and education, I have developed the expertise and leadership to bring together business, government and community resources to define the most critical issues in our community and create innovative solutions. Many goals have already been achieved, and many new projects have begun-projects that will have a lasting and positive impact on the City. It will be a critical time to retain members of City Council who have solid work ethics, experience and time to devote to keeping Independence strong. That is why I will seek re-election to Independence City council for my fifth term!

2. If elected or re-elected, what are your top three (3) priorities and why?

If re-elected my pledge will be to continue work hard to keep Independence Financially solid, Maintain low taxes, Keep property values strong, and Keep Rockside Road businesses strong. These are some of the qualities that are the backbone of Independence, making it one of the most desirable communities in Northeast Ohio. It will be imperative now to continue to lay the foundation that will secure and maintain a strong community for future generations.
