Please answer the following questions in no more than 300 words.

1. Why are you the best candidate for office?

I believe that I offer the best opportunity for Olmsted Falls to be financially proactive and economically creative. Our community is in need of energetic leadership that is based upon a commitment of integrity and I continue to meet that commitment. Throughout my tenure as Council At Large since 2003, I responded to concerns of our residents by initiating our city's first series of Town Hall meetings; re-designed our city Website as a more user-friendly resource; co-sponsored, precedent-setting, animal anti-cruelty legislation; successfully created a new IT strategy for networking all city departments and securing data from corruption; designed the city's first Disaster Preparedness Guide; created and hosted the county's first Economic Development Symposium to allow for an environment for an exchange of ideas for area communities; fought for tax relief for our residents; fought for the addition of new, fulltime police officers and fire fighters; held the current administration to task for wasteful spending and poor economic planning.

2. If elected or re-elected, what are your top three (3) priorities and why?

"(1) Work to create a long-term economic development strategy aimed at providing tax relief for our residents. For too long our current administration has not made this a priority. (2) Fight for the addition of new fulltime police officers and fire fighters for the city. The current administration has sought to cut expenses through the cutting of payroll. I disagree in this approach. (3) Commit to continue through my plan for every city department being completely networked with a comprehensive IT plan. This plan will reduce non-productive time and other resources. It will also provide a user-friendly environment for data retrieval for any resident needing information from our city."
