Please answer the following questions in no more than 300 words.
1. Why are you the best candidate for office?
With my experience in Finance and Construction, I understand cash flow analysis as well as the ability to assess all construction projects which are necessary to the maintenance of the Village. I have been a resident of the Village for 18 years, started the Bratenahl History Book which will be printed in 2006. My understanding of the past and the future of the Village gives me the big picture when making decisions that will affect the ongoing success of the community in attracting talented, interesting, and educated people. Our Village has a college graduate rate of 65 per cent.
2. If elected or re-elected, what are your top three (3) priorities and why?
My top 3 priorities are to continue to maintenance our strong security force, apply and receive grants for three major projects: 1. The lights in the median for Eddy Rd Entryway 2. Resurfacing of Lakeshore Blvd, $1,000,000 3. Bratenahl Rd. Terminus at the lake, $250,000. The third priority is to continue to maintain a strong tree-planting program as determined by the Master Plan where we have planted 300 trees in the last four years.
