Please answer the following questions in no more than 300 words.
1. Why are you the best candidate for office?
I have been a resident of Berea my entire life, most in Ward 3. I have served the citizens of Berea and Ward 3 as a dedicated and attentive councilman. I understand our city and will continue to work hard bringing a fresh and responsive perspective to council.
2. If elected or re-elected, what are your top three (3) priorities and why?
Ward 3 and Berea deserves a representative who will ask the tough questions and not just serve as a rubber stamp for the administration. I have served that role for the last two years and will continue to do so for the next two years. Together, we must ensure our government remains an active and vibrant participant in promoting the health and security of our community, and I will continue to do my part in meeting these goals. We also need elected officials who will encourage citizen participation. No public official has all of the answers. Working together, Bereans can make sure that our city remains a healthy community and an attractive place to live. We can do this by making sure that city finances are sound, government services are top-notch, our schools are safe and effective, our properties are well maintained, and our citizens are protected. I ask to be returned as councilman so that I may continue to do these things and represent my community, as I believe I have proven I can very well.
