1. Why are you the best candidate for office?
I believe that the following personal qualifications will benefit the community at large and in particular my ward: my history of public service employment since 1994; my knowledge of the legal system and developing legislation as an attorney and supervisor in the Tax Foreclosure Division - County Prosecutor's Office; and my prior experience as a School Board Member
2. If elected or re-elected, what are your top three (3) priorities and why?
In oder to improve life in my community, I would be take on a leadership role and make local govenment for the people more accessible to the people through televised council sessions and small community forums. Also, a more user friendly website and a consistent protocal to handling community concerns is key to good leadership in the city. I would like to identify the need for local government leaders to be more accountable to the public on budgetary issues by providing a detailed analysis of long term budget planning at every council meeting and re-evaluating public serivces. Finally, I believe that developing relationships between the community leaders within our city and surrounding communities is extremely important to the decision making process of council.
