Please answer the following questions in no more than 300 words.

1. Why are you the best candidate for office?

I am the best qualified candidate because of my four and half years as Magistrate at Juvenile Court. I have handled all matters that affect family whether delinquent children, unfit parents or matter involving family turmoil. My involvement has been intimate, personal and substantial utilizing and dealing with all manners of community and governmental agencies with an overwhelming positive result for both parent and child. My complete legal background of 23 years and my familiarity with Cleveland Municipal Ct. as Chief Deputy Bailiff of Cleve. Housing Ct. and close relationship with the community both privately and professionally uniquely provides the qualities required to meet the needs of the Cleveland community.

 

2. If elected or re-elected, what are your top three (3) priorities and why?

Strengthening the effort to reduce the number of outstanding warrants especially traffic warrants. Strengthen and expand the Drug Court, Psychological and Sex Crime Special docket with rotation of Judges for each docket in addition to the assigned Judge. Alternative sentencing as to license suspensions to allow people to get to jobs outside the City. Continue and strengthen the Courts affiliation with the community with Community Courtrooms with occasional dockets handled on Saturdays.
