Please answer the following questions in no more than 300 words.
1. Why are you the best candidate for office?
I am an honest hard working family man with integrity. I am committed to working with the Mayor and council to continue our quality paramedic service, fire and police protection for all of us. I believe I owe my allegiance to the people first and foremost. I will work hard to service my community. I will make myself available to my community and keep all of my neighbors informed of what is happening in our city. My wife of 16 years, Cindy and I are the proud parents of Matt and Katie. My mother-in-law lives here and I am currently looking for a home for my recently widowed mother here. Brook Park values their seniors and their youth. Therefore, I am committed to Brook Park and want to be part of the process that makes Brook Park a Better Place to live and raise a family.
2. If elected or re-elected, what are your top three (3) priorities and why?
One is to set up different forms of communication for the community to give them different avenues to contact me. This will keep them informed and able me to service them without delay. I would do this through phone, email and putting out a regular newsletter in my ward. Another would be to make sure we continue maintaining the city streets, sidewalks, and parks. We have an aging city and need to update our safety buildings that protect us. And I will make sure council continues to be fiscally responsible and protect the services that make Brook Park a great place to live.
